Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School infuses Catholicism in all aspects of student life - from academics to athletics, from arts to service. In addition to the Religion curriculum from the Archdiocese of Denver, our parish school is piloting the Augustine Institute’s sacramental preparation program entitled Signs of Grace. We are currently working with the Dominican Sisters of Nashville’s program Virtues in Practice. The three year program focuses on helping children grow closer to Jesus by imitating the lives of the saints.
We are honored to have a school dedicated to Our Blessed Mother. We ask for Mary’s intercession in all we do, especially during:
Religion is taught on a daily basis by Catholic religion teachers. The student body participates in school-wide prayer services throughout the year. Highlights include:
Our students attend Mass on Wednesdays with the parish. Students are engaged in the Mass through proclaiming the Word, helping Fr. Henri and Fr. John preach, singing in the School Liturgy Choir, and altar serving.
Students are paired with their buddies for Mass. Our buddy system fosters relationships between older and younger students, allowing the older students to nurture and lead the younger to follow positive role models.
Eucharistic Adoration is a powerful opportunity to spend one-on-one time with our Lord. Children are uniquely poised to open their hearts and minds to Jesus, and adoring Him in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament showers God's grace upon them. All students attend Eucharistic Adoration at least once a month in the parish Adoration Chapel.
Our Lady of Fatima is a stewardship parish, and that value is embraced by the school community. In addition to school-wide stewardship, each class completes two stewardship projects per year.
