School Advisory Council (SAC)

Dear Parents,

We would like to introduce ourselves as the School Advisory Council for the 2009-2010 school year. SAC primarily acts as an advisory board comprised of school parents who "provide the pastor and principal with insight on school policy and evolving issues."

"The council is not a grievance board and does not have any decision-making power. Members do serve as a sounding board for the administration and as a resource to the school community to present comments, issues and suggestions for consideration."

We meet every other month starting in September at 7:00 a.m. in the school library. We welcome your input. If you would like to submit an agenda item to attend the meeting, please do so two weeks in advance by emailing Elizabeth Tamez. To continue communication efforts, our minutes are posted in the Fanfare, one week following our meeting.

• Tuesday, November 10th
• Tuesday, January 12th
• Tuesday, March 9th
• Tuesday, May 11th

As we start another school year at Our Lady of Fatima, we pray that the Lord blesses us with open hearts to serve him and the ministry of the school.
